Look I've read all the complaints and I can see where they are all coming from. Yes the apartment was small, yes the lift slow, yes the sound proofing bad. But the room we had was clean and had modern furnishings. We had free wifi, the shower was warm, it's in a fantastic location and the price we paid to stay here was very very affordable compared to most other accommodation in London. So basically if you're a fussy traveller, don't be a tightarse, fork out the extra cash and stay somewhere else. This place isn't for you!
Once arriving in London via train from Dublin, we checked in at one place and had to lug our bags back down into the Tube to ride to another location (but luckily found out we didn't have to go back to the same office upon checkout. Just left our key cards in room)
The flat was nice, recently updated. excellent QUIET neighborhood, close to Paddington station and shopping/eating. We had a fridge (and stocked it with groceries for the week), stovetop, microwave, washer/dryer! Tiny shower, but it was fine. Would totally recommend Hyde Park Suites! very quiet. had wifi and cable (used the wifi way more than cable). Oh, and there was an elevator in our building.
The location is the best thing about the flat - 5 minutes from the park and two tube stations so we were able to get to most places in London within 40 minutes. For the expensive price the apartment was very low standard - all the basic commodities are there at a basic minimum (2 cups, 2 plates, 2 forks etc), the toilet flush was missing and some of the furniture was broken but nothing major to ruin our stay. The toilet flush stopped working one morning but it was fixed by the evening with minimum fuss. On the last night + morning we had no hot water and one member of staff was slightly rude when we mentioned this to her whilst checking out.
I was very anxious after booking these apartments as I read some of the reviews. I must say out experience was nothing but perfect. We stayed at 35 Inverness Terrace and everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and all you want on a short trip to London. The only thing I could say that was not good about the apartments is the windows are not double-glazed for sound. Just pack earplugs for a little more sound-proofing against the morning traffic and you will be perfectly fine. I will definetly book these apartments again. Lovely restaurant in the Eden Park Hotel across and very reasonable with the bar staying open till 1 a.m.
